Ethiopian Airlines Customer Relation Officers meet arriving passengers and guide them to Passport Control and
Baggage Claim, or to the transit exit if you're connecting to another flight.

It depends on your nationality. Travelers from countries eligible for visa on arrival can obtain one at the Airport
Immigration Office; everyone else must arrive with a valid entry visa, such as an approved Ethiopian e-Visa, and clear
the Passport Control counters.

Apply online at evisa.gov.et. Once approved, bring the confirmation email and the one-page e-visa document with
you — a payment receipt alone is not sufficient for entry.

Check the wide-screen baggage display in the arrivals area while you're clearing passport control; it shows the
belt assigned to your flight.

Go to the Ethiopian Airlines Customer Service Desk at the Baggage Claim Area, open 24/7. Agents will help track
your bag; for international flights, delayed-baggage incidental payments (USD 150 Cloud Nine / USD 100 Economy)
apply if it doesn't arrive on the next day's flight.

Yes. The Baggage Claim Area has bank counters and ATMs for currency exchange, plus a booth for local mobile
lines, and there's free Wi-Fi throughout the terminal.

Choose the Green Channel (nothing to declare) or Red Channel (goods to declare). All baggage, including hand
luggage, must pass through the Baggage X-Ray machine before you exit.

The city center is about 8 km away, a 15–30 minute drive depending on traffic. Choose the Blue Line SkyBus, an
official taxi, a local ride-hailing app, or a pre-arranged hotel shuttle.

The Ethiopian Airlines Customer Service Desk at the Baggage Claim Area is staffed 24/7 and is the fastest way to
get help immediately after you land; the airline's global contact center can also assist before or after your trip.
