TSA PreCheck® is an expedited security screening experience that makes traveling from United States airports more convenient. We are happy to announce thatTSA PreCheck® access is now available to members of this program traveling on Ethiopian Airlines out of our 5 U.S. gateways.

Want to enroll for TSA PreCheck®

The program is open to citizens and permanent residents of the United States. Follow the steps below to sign up:

1. Apply Online: select an enrollment provider with enrollment locations near you. Submit your TSA PreCheck® application online in as little as 5 minutes.

2. Visit an Enrollment Location: Complete enrollment in 10 minutes at your chosen provider, including fingerprinting, document and photo capture, and payment.

3. Get Your TSA PreCheck® Number: Once approved, get your Known Traveler Number (KTN), add it to your airline reservations, and start saving time in air.

3 ways to add your TSA PreCheck® Known Traveler Number to your Ethiopian Airlines booking

1. When making your booking

Add your Known Traveler Number (KTN) when you are making a booking on ethiopianairlines.com. After selecting your flights, you can add your KTN in the corresponding field when submitting your passenger details.

2. When managing your booking

Add your KTN to your booking once it has already been made. Navigate to the Manage My Booking link on the homepage and click 'Update Passenger Details’ under the ‘Manage Booking’ heading. Add your KTN in the corresponding field.

3. When checking in to your flight online

Add your KTN when checking in to your flight online. Navigate to the Check In Online link on the homepage. When reviewing your passenger details page, enter your KTN in the corresponding field.
