Terms & Conditions – My Sheba Neighbor Seat

1. By requesting or purchasing the My Sheba Neighbor Seat service, the Passenger acknowledges and agrees to be bound by all Terms and Conditions of the program.

2. Ethiopian Airlines may update these Terms and Conditions at any time, and by continuing to purchase or use the Service, the Passenger agrees to follow the latest version.

3. The Service is available only to passengers holding confirmed Economy Class tickets on Ethiopian Airlines-operated flights (flight numbers beginning with “071”).

4. The Service is not available to passengers with Special Service Requests (SSR), including unaccompanied minors.

5. The Service is not available for front-row, extra-legroom, or exit-row seats.

6. The Service may be purchased instantly or via bidding. For bidding, offers may be submitted from seven (7) days to three (3) hours before departure and will be confirmed between seventy-two (72) and three (3) hours prior to the scheduled flight.

7. Ethiopian Airlines does not guarantee specific seat assignments, and pre-reserved seats may be reassigned if necessary.

8. If a Passenger has already purchased a Premium Seat and subsequently purchases a My Sheba Neighbor Seat, Ethiopian Airlines may reassign the Passenger to accommodate the Neighbor Seat request. However, the fare paid for the original premium seat will not be refunded.

9.My Sheba Neighbor Seat purchase does not include lounge access, additional baggage allowance, bonus miles, or any other onboard special services.

10. Payments for the Service are charged under “Ethiopian Airlines, ET” and are non transferable, non-exchangeable, and non-refundable, except in cases where Ethiopian Airlines is unable to provide the Service.

11. In cases where a blocked seat is removed for operational or commercial reasons, including oversales with full-fare passengers, a refund will be processed.

12. Ethiopian Airlines reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to determine whether the Service is offered on any flight, to make no guarantee that any Passenger will receive a My Sheba Neighbor Seat regardless of seat availability, and to remove a blocked seat for operational or commercial reasons, with refunds provided as stated above.
