Ethiopian Airlines will start to operate a new flight to Bangui, the capital of Central African Republic effective 03 December 2010.
The new flight to Central African Republic marks the national flag carrier’s 60th destination globally and 39th in Africa, further expanding the airline’s route network as part of the company’s strategic initiative to link up major African cities with the rest of the world.
Ethiopian will operate Boeing 737-800 to Bangui offering a total capacity of 154 seats: 16 in Business class and 138 in Economy.

The new flight will offer direct connections via Addis Ababa to Ethiopian’s vast network across the globe. Passengers from Bangui will be able to connect to dozens of cities worldwide, including Bangkok, Beijing, Beirut, Bombay, Brussels, Dubai, Frankfurt, London, Rome and Washington DC.
Ethiopian Airlines, one of the largest and fastest growing airlines in Africa, made its maiden flight to Cairo in 1946. With the addition of flight services to Maputo and Bangui, Ethiopian will provide dependable services to 39 cities in Africa and a total of 60 international destinations spanning four continents.
