 USD 225.00 will apply for each additional piece (bag) weighing up to 23 kgs (50 lbs)
 on the sectors between all destinations to Washington D.C., Chicago, Newark, New York (JFK) or vice versa.

●  For flights from Washington D.C., Chicago, Newark, and New York (JFK) to Asmara:
 USD 275.00 will apply for each additional piece (bag) weighing up to 23 kgs (50 lbs)

●  Dimension Limit: Each additional bag must not exceed 158 cm (62 in) in total dimensions.

●  For passengers originating from the USA, outside Washington D.C., Chicago, Newark, and New York (JFK):
 Please contact the first carrier for excess baggage information.

●       In Economy Class, if a bag is within the allowed number of pieces but weighs more than 23 kgs and less than 32 kgs (51–70 lbs), the excess baggage charge will be USD 100.00 per bag.

●       Infant passengers paying 10% of the applicable fare and not occupying a seat are entitled to:

           ○       One checked bag (piece)

           ○       One fully collapsible child’s stroller or pushchair

●       Sheba Miles Platinum, Gold, Silver, Blue and Star Gold members receive additional allowance in addition to the normal baggage allowance.

The following fare shall apply for the transportation of unaccompanied minors on International and domestic routes with company escort.

 If a passenger is traveling from Lagos to Chicago, the UMNR charge is

 If the UM is traveling from CPT to CAI, the UMNR charge is
 USD 100 (CPT–ADD) + USD 100 (ADD–CAI) = Total USD 200

●       For age group 12 to 17, escort is optional, and charges apply as above

Domestic Unaccompanied Minor Service

●       Children aged 5 to 11 years can travel on domestic routes with a mandatory company escort, subject to a one-way adult fare for the escort plus a service fee of ETB 100.

●       Minors aged 12 to 18 years may travel without an escort by completing a UM form and paying a service fee of ETB 200.
