- ShebaMiles members can accumulate Miles on LH flights operated by LH only (excluding Code share flights with LH except ET) in to their ShebaMiles account.
- To do so Shebamiles members needs to show there ShebaMiles card when they book or check-in LH non code share flights.
- ShebaMiles members can claim award ticket against miles in their ShebaMiles account on Flights that are purely operated by LH (excluding code share flights except with ET). This also works for beneficiaries of the member.
- ShebaMiles members need to claim these awards by contacting ET Ticket sales offices only.
- Members can check the Award table to check the mileage requirements for the award Tickets on Lufthansa.
- Award bookings should be made on X class for economy, I class for business and O class for first class.
- Award bookings should be made using the specific flight icon on the reservation screen.
- Tickets to be issued will be paper tickets as we have no interline e-ticket agreement with LH.
- All the rules that are applied to award tickets, such as “non Endo/Re routable/Refundable, change fee applies” will also apply on LH awards.
- Upgrade awards are not included in the agreement.
- Retro mile credit for missing activity on LH should be claimed with in 6 months of the flight date in question.
- ShebaMiles members who are also members of Miles & More program and who want to claim awards against the miles in their Miles & More accounts can only Contact LH offices to claim awards on ET flights as well as on LH.
- A member of both programs needs to choose which membership card he/she wants to use to accumulate miles when he/she flies on ET or LH.
- It is not possible to pool miles of the two programs in one account. The partnership agreement does not provide such a benefit.

Donate Your ShebaMiles for a Good Cause
An agreement has been made between the Ethiopian Airlines and Saint Yared Higher Clinic regarding the establishment of Saint Yared charity account from the mileage accumulated by passengers traveling with the Ethiopian Airlines. The purpose of this charity account is to help needy patients who should go abroad for medical evacuation with their transportation expense.
