Ethiopian’s New Partner in West Africa – ASKY

Ethiopian is joining hands with a new partner in West Africa – ASKY. Based in Lomé (Togo), ASKY operates with two modern Boeing 737-700s, linking passengers in West Africa with convenient and frequent flights to points such as Ouagadougou, Bamako, Brazzaville, and Kinshasa. Moreover, ASKY’s schedules at Lomé are linked to Ethiopian’s flights to Addis Ababa and beyond. Now passengers from Niamey and Cotonou can connect to such far-flung destinations as Beijing, Beirut and Bangkok with just two short connections in Lomé and Addis Ababa.

Effective March 15, 2010, ShebaMiles members can now accrue and redeem miles on sector which are operated by ASKY.

Ethiopian’s New Partner in Southern Africa – Malawian Airlines

Malawian Airlines is a newly established national flag carrier of Malawi operating in the southern region of Africa. The Airline is currently flying to Johannesburg, Lusaka, Dar es Selaam and Harare from the two main cities of Malawi, Blantyre and Lilongwe. In the near future, it will include Tete and Beira as its new destinations. Malawian airlines partnership with Ethiopian Airlines also gives travelers the convenience of connecting to the rest of the world through its world class fleet, exceptional in flight service and a wide route network.

Effective October 1, 2014 ShebaMiles members can earn and redeem miles on flights operated by Malawian Airlines.
