Ethiopian, the fastest growing airline in Africa, is set to increase frequencies on its Abidjan
route by offering daily flights, effective November 25, 2012. Ethiopian currently operates
thrice weekly services to Abidjan.
Traffic to and from Abidjan, the commercial capital of Côte d’Ivoire and the most
important economic hub in French speaking West Africa, has shown tremendous increase
recently, due to the robust economic growth the country has been registering. To meet this
increasing demand and to improve flexibility for its esteemed customers, the airline will
add four additional flights to and from Abidjan. The new frequencies are already available

Ethiopian inaugurated its maiden flight to Abidjan on November 1, 1980 and has been
serving the city uninterruptedly ever since.
