Invitation to Bid for the design and execution of Four Star Hotel on Turn-Key Basis

1. Ethiopian Airlines Enterprise is desirous of engaging a contractor for the design and execution ofFour Star Hotel on Turn-Key Basis.
    
2. Ethiopian Airlines Enterprise now invites eligible bidders of international contractor (GC) ofCategory one with representatives and local contractor and consultant as a partner with relevantexperience and valid licences for the year 2012-2013 to submit sealed tenders for the execution ofFour Star Hotel at Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
    
3. The design and construction of the works shall be completed within 915 calendar days from thecommencement of the work.
    
4. A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased for ETB 1,500 by any interested eligiblebidder at working hours from Ethiopian Airlines Procurement & Supply Chain Management

6. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of USD 100,000.00- /One Hundred ThousandAmerican Dollars / or equivalent amount in an acceptable form expressed in a freely convertiblecurrency, in the form of CPO or unconditional Bank Guarantee in the form provided in the BidDocument payable to the Employer at the first demand with out any contestation whatsoever, andmust be submitted at the address of :- Ethiopian Airlines Purchasing & Material Management Office
    
7. The Bid comprising of technical and financial document must be delivered in separate sealedenvelops in two copies as original & copy of the document to the address given above on or before May 25, 2012 at 14:00 pm local time . All copies of the Bids shall be submitted in separateenvelopes i.e., the (Technical Proposal, Financial Offer, and Bid Security) and one outer envelope,duly marking the inner envelopes as "ORIGINAL" and "COPIES" both for the "The TechnicalProposal" and "Financial Offer"
    
8. Bids will be opened on the May 25, 2012 at 14:30 Pm local time.
    
9. Bids shall be valid for a period of one hundred twenty (120) calendar days after tender opening.
    
10.  The Ethiopian Airlines Enterprise reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to alter, amendor cancel this request if deemed to be of the interest, to annul the bidding process, and to reject allBids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected Bidderor Bidders.
