Ever since the first cargo charter operation was launched to Nairobi in 1946
and the growth of agricultural exports out of Ethiopia, especially to Europe, in
the early Seventies, Ethiopian’s cargo service has been steadily expanding.
Currently Ethiopian cargo operates dedicated 2-757, 2 MD-11 and 2-777 freighter
aircrafts on a scheduled and charter basis. Furthermore, Ethiopian cargo will soon
open its cargo hub in Lome, Togo to serve over 10 destinations in West Africa like
Douala (DLA), Accra (ACC), Bamako (BKO), Abuja (ABV), Malabo (SSG), N'djamena (NDJ),
Libreville (LBV), Ouagadougou (OUA), Port Harcourt (PHC), Cotonue (COO) & Abidjan
(ABJ) through its new hub in Togo.
Ethiopian cargo has over 60 years of experience in transporting goods ranging

4 cargo flights at one time is inaugurated recently which contributes a lot for
