Course Duration: 3 months theoretical, practical

 Upon completion of the courses listed above, trainees will have the following   skills

  • Effective communication skills, problem-solving and the dynamics of airlines teamwork techniques essential to succeed in the aviation industry.

 The Basic Requirements and Competencies for Cabin Crew Job:

Trainees will have the great opportunity of working in one of the well known airlines in the World. Below are the basic requirements that most airlines expect from a professionally trained Cabin Crew:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Vision at least 20/40
  • Weight in proportion to height
  • Physically fit able to pass the pre-employment physical examination
  • Well-groomed and practice good hygiene
  • Professional, businesslike, polite and mature
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills- Must have the ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
  • Flexible and dependable
  • Willing to work nights, weekends and holidays
  • Able to work with people of diverse cultures
  • Must be free of all street drugs, hallucinogens, narcotics, depressants and stimulant medications.

 Admission and Registration

A private applicant interested to enrole in the training programs should meet the requirements stated below. Completion of the tranings in the Academy as a private applicant will not nessesarily lead you to get employment at Ethiopian Airlines.

Educational Background

A minimum of 12th grade complete in the old curriculum or 10th grade complete in the new curriculum.

  • Height: A minimum of 158 cms
  • Weight: proportional to height.
  • Gender: Male or Female


The medium of instruction is English. Candidates are required to read, write, speak and understand English.
